Hmmm, I have seen papilloma growths on panther’s in various places. This doesn’t really look like it to me. It looks like the scales are pushed up from the growth. Papilloma typically looks like a wart or kind of like a head of cauliflower. This would be best identified by a vet. If it’s an abscess it would need to be drained. If it’s possibly a papilloma or something else, it would need a biopsy.
Thanks for your reply, it almost looks like the scales are raised! He has let me gently touch it with no reaction so don’t think it is causing him any pain atm! Think I’ll try find a good reptile vet to take a look at it
Yeah looks more like an abscess to me. Papilloma has a very obvious look which does not appear the way yours is showing. So that is good at least. For sure a vet to get it looked at. Not something you want getting bigger.
