"Spring cleaning"... what to use?

Ok Full of questions lately. But what cleaning solution can I use for the enclosure? Right now I clean the feeder bins with water and vinegar. Is this ok to clean inside the enclosures with? If so spray or what?

Also I need to do a quick clean in the room we are staying in since my son is coming down with something. So I need to spray with Lysol. Will my reptile family be ok?

Just making sure... Plan on finishing up Starr's side soon... And since everything has been in storage I need to clean it up

You can search "clean" in the search option on the front page. There are lots of threads with good information for cleaning.

I am cautious about using any aerosol type cleaners in the same room because I've heard of some of them affecting birds and other pets. I would do a search on lysol to see if anyone had any previous comments about it. If you feel that you really must use it in the same room, at the very least I would cover the whole cage with towels unless you can find out if its okay or not.

Vinegar is fine though. I also use chlorhexidine or hydrogen peroxide if I want a more heavy duty type cleaning.
