Stand recommendations

We've bought our terrariums. Yeah. They are 48"x48"x19" all glass, and weight about 123.3 lbs. I don't want them to site on the floor, so I'm looking for a recommendation for a stand. Metal, wood, at this point anything is on the table. But, I need room to store a water jug and the pump for the mistking.

I had thought of looking at aquarium stand, since they tend to have doors to hide filter pumps and stuff. This would be ideal, as we're not setting up a lizard room. At least not yet.

So any recommendation would be awesome!

Good topic. I hope you get a lot of comments/ suggestions. One of the reasons I haven't gone to a larger cage is I don't have a good stand for one.

Here is the one I have. This is with my smaller terrarium on it several years ago.

This is what I used...you have a wide selection to chose from....and they usually have wheels so they're easy to move around....

the shelf size will hold the terrarium with some wiggle room, and the 800lb weight is more than enough. If we go this route, I would only be using 3 of the 4 shelves. One at the very bottom, next about 20" higher, where the unit will sit, then one at the very top. Three should give me the stability i need, and worse case i can strap it to the wall.
