Stange white spot on stomach

My panther chameleon has one white spot on his stomach that is surrounded by dark skin. It does not have a matching spot on his other side as all his other spots do. He did not always have the spot although I could not tell you how long he has had it. One day I just noticed when he was done shedding that he had this spot where the shed skin still clung to even after all the other shed was gone. Eventually that shed skin wore off also, but the spot has not gone away. It does not seem to affect his appetite or anything, but I wondered if this is a normal thing or something I should have a vet look at. Thanks!

It looks like it might be a scab. Wait to get a confirmation from another member. Has there been crickets in the cage overnight? They will munch on your cham.

How long would a scab stay on? I don't know exactly when it got there but, I do know that it has been there at least a few months.

Could it be a burn? Are your lights directly on the screen or elevated? If on, do you ever see him climb on the screen and hang directly under it?

His UV light is directing on the screen but the heat light is elevated. I have never seen him hang upside down under the lights.

For anyone else who has this problem, my breeder told me that it was an old burn scar that is healed. Thanks for the help!
