Start too end of my hand made screen cage project

Hello im making a screen cage for my buddy. Thought it was a good idea to share with everyone my ideas and see if anyone has any constructive criticism for me.

So the plan is to make two cages side by side. With all lights and misting system hidden. It will be screen on two sides and wood on others. The lights will be 2 light fixtures http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002JQBQZQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

with 3 horticulture lights and Zoo Med ReptiSun lights

and for the mist kit it will be the mist king.

Those are excellent lighting fixtures for those T5 HO lamps and they look good.

I bought the dark bronze version of these because they looked better over my cages.

So the first pic is the overall plan

third pic is the light fixture area there will be a heat lamp in there also and the front will have a access door to change bulbs and such.

Ok just finished the first part of the project, its the light housing. After some little adjustments the lights fit in snug. For stain i used a acrylic deck stain. im Not sure if im going to use this for the area that my little guy will be in, still looking for a good and safe finish for that area. I was thing wood seal that they use for butch blocks but cant find one of good quality. If anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated.

Sorry all i was busy this month but here is where im at with the project. The top housing is done i have the misters and the lights all installed and i have finished the first door. Some thing i thought was kinda a good idea was to cut up a 1 gallon jug into squares so you can install the misters any where instead of just the corners like the ones you can get from mistking. Other than that everything should be pretty straight forward from the pics.
