I feel ya. My boyfriend is having the same problem. Its even harder to find a job now with electronic applications. They can weed your resume out based on not matching enough key words and no one ever sees it. It is very frustrating.
i completely agree.. i take in my resume to all the places i apply online just to actually meet someone face to face.
I'm sorry.

The job market is definitely getting harder in a lot of areas. I know it's so discouraging to get your hopes up with an interview just to end up back at square one. Here's hoping the next one is successful and you get a job you enjoy! Sometimes getting a bad job is almost as bad as being unemployed...
i agree, i need a job really bad but i also dont want one that i dont want to get up to go to in the morning.. thank you for the support
Just keep your head up and that right job will be there for you when the time is right....there may be a reason why a job hasn't happened yet....keep the faith and best of luck to you.
thank you, i really appreciate the support. im trying to keep my chin up about it and just keep applying everywhere i can.
it's hard times here in the US. i don't really care what the news says about how the recovery is rolling along, i know a lot of people out of work and they've been unemployed for months and even years.
finding a new job is very stressful and discouraging. take each interview and learn from it. i always say the first 3 interviews you won't get the job b/c it takes time to get back into full interviewing mode. you should critique each of your interviews and examine your answers and think of how you could've done better.
i hope your job search picks up and i'm curious, what kind of job are you looking for? have you tried to enlist the help of a headhunter?
tell me about it!! my mom went unemployed for over a year and luckily got a job a couple months ago, its coming up on a year that ive been unemployed too and im just busting my tail trying to find something but its really difficult, we live in a very small town and i have no transportation but my feet which is fine but it cuts down on the places i can apply to.
i am certainly taking each interview and learning from it, this last one i know i was not prepared when he asked me what department i wanted to work in and i paused. so im learning from each one and getting better prepared for the next one.
thank you! im pretty much looking for anything i qualify for, i have experience in food service, i was a cook, and cashier and i have experience in a cleaning service. so i can qualify for cashier jobs, customer service, cleaning, food service, bagging, stocking, pretty much all the beginner jobs.. what do you mean by headhunter?
