Steve Irwin and Chameleons

That was an awesome vid. R.I.P Steve irwin....man that guy was passionate about animals. Did anyone else notice how docile those chams were in his presence?

Awesome video!!! Too bad Steve E isn't here anymore cause he really did some outstanding research for endangered animals including chams.

Omg I love that guy (RIP Steve!)! I can't believe he just walked in and found a Parsons. That was an awesome episode. None of them even gaped or hissed or bit him....lol

What a great excerpt. I grew up watching Steve Irwin. The world is desperate for more role models as good as him.

Wow!

That brings back memories...when I lived in Australia I lived in Sunshine Beach which is about 45 mins from Australia Zoo which Steve Irwin owned. I used to go there at least once a month just for the wild life and the animals. I met him on 3 occasions and he was just as he was on film.....larger than life with a real passion and love for all wildlife and all living creatures. What you saw on film was how he was in real life :)

I really admired the man, he would buy huge parcels of farmed or stripped land or any compromised, over mined or over farmed land to turn into wild life habitats and I am happy to see his lifes work and passion continuing.

Thanks for the video, I remember when hearing the news of his passing and not believing that it could be true. I think the video says more than words ever could about the man and his passion for conservation of wild life.

He was an amazing man :)

R.I.P Steve....One of the greatest...:(

Seen that before on animal planet but that was long back, thanks for sharing.

I cried the day Steve Irwin died. He was a pioneer and had no fear towards the animals and unfortunately that is what cost him his life. I cannot believe how friendly those wild chameleons were! I thought they would be biting and hissing!

Awww man I loved his shows.
Do you think he really found those chams? Or they just put them there?
They seemed a little TOO calm lol
