I have extra live insects and eggs
Indian Lab Waking Stick Insects -carausius morosus
My chameleons LOVE eating these; they will choose stick insects over EVERY other feeder, including silkies, hornworms, roaches, and wax worm and moths. And stick insects are easy to care for and reproduce fantastically fast. I know nothing about the nutritional value of the stick insects though, so probably better to use these as a weekly treat rather than a staple.

and also have extra eggs of
Macleays Spectre (also called Australian Giant Spiny Stick Leaf Insect) -extatosoma tiaratum
These make kewl pets. Probably anything older than a few months would be too prickly to feed to a cham though.

PM me if you're interested and I'll send you additional info.

Prices (offers always considered)
Indian Walking Stick EGGS: $3 for five. $5 for ten. $12 for twenty-five. $20 for fifty-sixty eggs.
Indian Walking Stick YOUNG - SUBADULT: $5 each
Spectre EGGS: $3 for five. $5 for ten. $12 for twenty-five. $20 for fifty.
(postage extra)

NOTE: these insects may be illegal where you live - heck they may be illegal where I live (I cant get a straight answer).
***I've been advised by one of the members of this forum that one isnt supposed to ship insect eggs across the Canada/US border. I will still send if you want to assume take the risk.

Not to jump on your boat, but I have some Indian walking sticks and some Australian giant prickly leaf insects, too if anyone wants some. I have eggs and live babies if anyone is interested.

CAREFUL People!!!
These forums (among others) are monitored by the USDA.
You may be inviting a visit to your home.
It's not too hard to track people from this forum.

Just a warning
It's happened to several people I talk to on a regular basis.

huh?????????

*sigh*
It is illegal to keep these insects in the United States.
You could face substantial fines, jail, or they could be nice and simply arrive at your home with a search warrant and remove any animals you are keeping that they don't approve of.
Most likely just the stick insects would go. Technically speaking Blaptica dubia are also illegal.
So in response to "huh?????????" it's like growing pot in your house and talking about it on the reefer forums....(they are going to catch you).
Do what you want but, for your own protection, keep it private.

edit: Oh ... and just in case the "huh?????????" was because you didn't know what USDA stands for ... it is the United States Department of Agriculture.

On another side note, while the Aus prickly Walkingsticks are AWESOME to check out, assuming we're talking about Extatosoma Tiaratum, I wouldn't recommend them as feeders. Says it all in the name but they're also fairly chitenous.

Cant seem to edit original post. But I think we should heed the information about legality of these bugs. Luckily no one in the states has yet to purchase any, and now no one will, from me :)
Sorry folks! I suspect its because many of the states dont get a hard freeze, so there is a possiblity that someone may unintentionally release them into the wild and cause an invasion!
People who live in the great white north may not face the same issues. My local pet store still sells them for $20 a bug (can you believe that price!) so I'm going to cross my fingers that these bugs are still legal here!

Since you have posted to the public that you will not ship to the states, I do not see a reason to edit any part of this thread at this time.
For the time being, my vote is to leave it as is.
It will serve as a good F.Y.I. for a little while.
