Sticky tongues?!

Winter time = dry!!!
When hand or cup feeding my guyz, they are sometimes sticking to my hand,
or the cup.
I started wetting my hand with a little water and found that prevents sticking
to my skin when hand feeding.
I also started giving the inside to the feeding cups a layer of fine mist before
putting the dusted feeders in it. You don't want to dust them in the wet cup,
so I dust them in a dry cup, then dump them into the misted one.

This is working out really well, and I haven't had any problems with tongues
sticking :)
I also mist the foliage in the cage before free ranging feeding and found this helps kept their tongues from sticking to the leaves, vines, etc.

Just thought I would share that little tip :)

Thanks for telling me this! My chameleons tongue has been getting stuck to my hand constantly and I've been worried that it would injure her. Now I'll feel a lot better about hand feeding. :)
