Sticky tongues?!

Winter time = dry!!!
When hand or cup feeding my guyz, they are sometimes sticking to my hand,
or the cup.
I started wetting my hand with a little water and found that prevents sticking
to my skin when hand feeding.
I also started giving the inside to the feeding cups a layer of fine mist before
putting the dusted feeders in it. You don't want to dust them in the wet cup,
so I dust them in a dry cup, then dump them into the misted one.

This is working out really well, and I haven't had any problems with tongues
sticking
I also mist the foliage in the cage before free ranging feeding and found this helps kept their tongues from sticking to the leaves, vines, etc.

Thanks for telling me this! My chameleons tongue has been getting stuck to my hand constantly and I've been worried that it would injure her. Now I'll feel a lot better about hand feeding.
