Stopped Antibiotic Course prematurely

So I stopped his injections prematurely and I was wondering if I should start them back up again or not? I have a Jackson Chameleon and I stopped the injections because an emergency happened and I had to leave the state for 4 days and I havent injected him in about 2 weeks because I heard you aren't supposed to restart them if its been that long. Should I start again or no?

How many injections did you give and how many were you supposed to give? What antibiotic?
Was this for the mouth rot?

Yeah it was I was supposed to give him about 12 for the course and I did about 8

When in doubt, call your vet.

Never stop antibiotics cause this can cause the bacteria to develop a resistance toward the antibiotics, if the infection is back or if you stor recently please finish the treatment

You will have to start over from the beginning or use a different antibiotic. Ask your vet because you will need more doses to complete the series.

Yeah I know the infection could come back I emailed my vet to ask what I should do. she said to Bring him in and then go from there so I will let you guys know what happens.

She said I have to continue it but good thing the infection hasn't come back
