Strange behavior

Yoshi my @ 1 y/o veiled has decided to try cannibalism. After downing about 10 small crickets, I noticed him shoot at his own tail. I thought a cricket had gotten on it but he did it again. This time he dragged his tail back to his mouth and started munching on his shedding skin. Is this normal or is it time for a therapist? He does seems to have issues [running away, overeating].

I've seen my veileds eat their shed before......right off their body.

I have also seen my f veiled eat her skin when shedding, I wonder if there is a nutritional value?

It's normal. I alwaysthought it was because in the wild shed skin would give away that they were there.

um to me eating there own skin seems unhealthy to me but thats just my oppinion.
