Hello everyone,

I noticed a black spot on her belly and not exactly sure what it may be... a defective pigment??
it looks a little indented so it makes me a little concerned about it.

Im not sure what it is but my veiled has a spot like that on his left side under his left back knee. But mine looks clear in the middle with black fading to brown.

oh his is darker than peaches black spot.

is he free range?? I only ask because I rescued peaches and I am not exactly sure how well she was taken care of and think it could be just a scar and just lost the pigment.
No he is not free range . I bought him from petco (I know i know not a good idea but he's alive)
so I think that's his issue but my personal fear is a fungus or mucus on his skin.:cautious::mad:

Usually black spots are either a burn or a bruise. I think the Veild chameleon's spot looks like a burn, but it is kind of in an odd place. Usually burns occur along spine, on top of the knees and on the casque or top of the head. It should go away on its own, but it might take a little while. I don't think the female Panther's spot is anything too concerning either. Just keep an eye on both of them that they do not get worse.
