Strange Brownish Larve in Cricket Box

I pose this question to see if maybe anyone else has had this in their shipment.
Today I recieve an order of 1,000 crickets. I noticed this evening I found two strange looking worms or larve in with the crickets. I tried to get a picture but it looked a bit too blurry. The larve were a brown/black color with what appeared to be only 6 legs in the front and tiny hairs coming off of them.
I didn't leave them in the box and flushed them down the toilet but I wondered if anyone else had encountered this and what it may be.

Thanks. :)

Ive had this happen also but never knew what those little hairy worm creatures were

I asked my pet store and I don't know if you can feed them but they are there to eat the dead crickets and the poop (I think)

Sounds like dermestid larvae possibly. They're frequently used as cleaner bugs because they eat just about anything that's dry and dead.

Oh. Interesting. I didn't realise they had such a thing that would come in the boxes. Cool. Guess next time I'll leave them alone. Thanks all. :)
