Stressed?

My male veild hasent really been acting normal... for a few months now he will just stay a dark color (s) and will stay in one place most of the day. He eats and drinks just fine. Also sleeps for a good amount of time every night. Is there anything wrong? Thanks.
Also in that pic he was happy to be out... that's why he's a bit brighter that usual.

He could just be dark because he is basking. Or it could be stress. Have you changed his cage up recently?

Yes actually I added another branch and another live plant. Which I know he likes because when I finished he explored for a few minutes and is happy he has many new hiding spots. But even before, he still was dark.
