Stuck or a prefered spot?

My new chameleon, Pascale a veiled, has been in the same area every time ive checked on him the last two days and im worried he may have gotten himself into a position and cant figure out how to get out. However since he climbed up to the vine he is on im under the impression he should be able to get down . In your experiances have you had chameleons get stuck in their enclosures or for that matter have them enjoy a spot where they dont want to leave? The vine allows for close a basking area and I hand feed so I can understand not wanting to budge. Its a little early in the taming process for me to grab him so im trying to just understand the behavior more.

They do tend to stay in certain spots for a while.. Specially if its in a new enclosure they take their time to explore.. Try putting food in his enclosure so he can "hunt/explore" at the same time.. But dont rush him to move..

Most of mine make their own little spot on the sofa.

Pretty awesome that your cham enjoys being on the couch im going to place in another dowel in that area just incase he did get himself stuck. Thanks so much for the quick responses!
