Suitable light for a veiled?

Hey guys, I just got the reptisun t8 for Charlie. It was the only one they had at my local store. Is this a good linear light for her? I can return it if needed.

Also do these lights seem suitable for a basking light? We had the blue daytime light, but I’ve heard bad things and decided to switch it out.

The repti sun is good idk about the other bulbs though

You can raise and lower your light or basking branch to get the right temperature. I think you will be fine with what you have. Charlie will be happy.

Make sure the UVB bulb is 5.0 or 10.0. I use 10.0 since my cage is heavily planted. The 2.0 UVB is not strong enough to provide the cham with what it needs.

yes on the reptisun, though I prefer the t-5. Seems to be more bang for the buck. Most people seem recommend the 10.0 since many chams spend like 2 hours anyway near it and it looses alot of its UVB in a short period of time.

As for the other bulb, that will heat roughly like 53 watt bulb since that's what it actually uses. Much in the way that a "75 watt" LED bulb throws off very little heat since it is like 20 watts. You can still find regular cheap incandescent at the Dollar Tree and Dollar General. I stocked up at the Dollar Tree at 3/$1. I'm guessing they will only be available as specialty bulbs in a year or two since you can now get LEDs at $1 a piece.
