summer lighting

hi, i know in the winter chams are meant to get 12 hours of light on and 12 off. I have read about people increasing the length of time the light is on in the spring to make it feel natural. Is this ok to do?

Some users do match daylengths, but by no means is it necessary. You are fine keeping 12 on/12off all year as well.

Thanks for the replies, the only reason I wanted to do it was So I can have more time with my Cham!

I match the sun as closely as possibly. So it's longer during the summer and shorter in the winter. So right now my lights are on at 7 and off at 8. In winter it may be more like 7-5:30.

I was just wondering about this.

Simba's lights go off and he's in bed well before the sun sets now.

Think I'll increase his daylight hours now too.
