sunlight spawns the devil? Or am I just really really REALLY ugly?! :-(

For real. This lil dude is just one of the most awesome pets I’ve ever owed. He’s always been just incredibly friendly and walked into my hands.
He still does. Loves his strolls around the house. And sometimes refuses to get back into his cage. I have a coue vines strung up to the ceiling and he absolutely loves going up there when I have all the windows open.
I would take him outside like everyone otherday to every week. Perfect veiled weather.
And the. One day I walking with him o my hand holding it shoulder height as always. And he went into the most evil stare down and colors blue up and tried biting the hand he was sitting. Walked him straight to cage dimmed house lights and went to my room.
Came back out and everything was back to normal.
Except now. He does this every time the sun Is on us.
Shadows, just fine. Inside, he’s the best. But I’m afraid I’ll never be able to walk him outside to his fav tree again. Either that long walk will ruin the relationship or he will get one of my digits!?!

How old is he? If he is at the 6 month mark, he is in his teenage years. Maybe something outside he reacts when he sees it

Look around for things you may not notice that he does. My favorite picture of my boy Zaphod happened when he flared up while I was holding him outside. I didn't realize it at first, but he was seeing his reflection in the sliding glass door behind us. Still one of my luckiest photo shoots

You can always walk him outside on a stick or a plant. Don't take it personally.

Veileds, especially, are very temperamental. He probably sees something else. It could even be that you unknowingly touched him somewhere and he didn't like it.

If nothing else works try taking an umbrella with you maybe the sun is bothering his eyes. Or just go out on cloudy/shady days.

So if i take my chameleon outside on my hand for 10 mins or so that should be fine? As far as handling goes... i can also put a small ficus outside he can prop on? My guys still young so when hes on my hand he just runs up my arm... teenagers am i right? Lol
