has anyone ever given there cham superworm beatles?

yes they have a horrid odor but my chams dont seem to mind

My chams wont eat them. I dont blame the chams - the beetles stink. If yours will eat them, dont offer too often (too crunchy for a frequent meal me thinks).

I like keeping the beetles so that they make more larva!

i feed the beetles to my chams as soon as they hatch, they dont stink that much when they are just out of the pupae, i never even really knew they stunk

I dunno what you guys smell I have a bunch of them and smelled them and nothing. perhaps they have never felt threatened enough to let out the "smell".

Touch one. If you cant instantly smell their defense odour, you've got a problem with your nose! LOL A good problem, cuz you dont really want to smell those beetles.

LOL don't listen to any of them, the beetles smell like burning wood, with a hint of fortune cookies...good stuff.

Beetles.

The mundoworm/superworm beetles (Zophobas) stink like mad but the regular mealworms (Tenebrio) usually don't.

Just found one in my cage and was wondering if they were ok to feed. I'm not sure about the smell because I picked it up with a kleenex and threw it in a container. They do look like stink bugs though. Kind of curious about the smell now and want to touch it to see lol
