Supplement routine ideas?

I will be getting a Veiled chameleon for my girlfriend for the holidays in a few weeks and while doing research on care and nutrition I am reading mixed information about supplements and how often to use each type.

The chameleon in question will be around 4 months old. Not sure of the gender yet but hoping to find a male at my local pet shop.

The supplements I purchased already were Rep-Cal calcium w/o D3, Rep-Cal calcium with D3, and Rep-Cal Herptivite. Do I need a way to supplement Preformed Vit-A or would gutloading feeders with certain vegetables and such take care of that?

What would be a good schedule to start with until the cham gets settled and can be observed and supplements adjusted if need be?

Sorry, I know this has been discussed before but, like I mentioned, I have read numerous different articles and forum posts suggesting different schedules, amounts, ect...

Thanks!

Rough schedule I have is based off acouple different posts I've read here and around the internet.

Calcium without D3 twice per week.
Calcium with D3 once per week.
Multivitamin twice per month.

Is this good for a chameleon around 4 months old?

Check out the veiled Cham care sheet here....

It covers everything...we have a great resources tab with a ton of info that is forum member approved and trusted into.

D3 is a tricky one and is very easily over supplemented.

The schedule used by a majority of keeper is...
Calcium without D3 6days a week
Calcium with D3 2x a month
Multivitamin 2x a moth.

You can take one day a week as you 7th day and alternate between the multi and the D3.

In the summer, as long as my Cham gets natural sunlight a few times a week I will not give D3 at all, they get it naturally from the sun.

I'll check that out. I currently keep several tarantulas and alot of the care sheets available for them are generic and tend to be more harmful for the animal. It kind of caused me to not trust care sheets lol. I like how that info has to be approved by the forum members here though.

Thanks!

They were written by members who are amazing keepers. They are definitely not generic care sheets. (y) JannB keeps a lot of veileds and she has a great blog on keeping them.

Awesome! I appreciate the help. Looking thought the articles now and the care sheet. They are way more detailed than what I am used to seeing. lol

I suggest using the Repashy Calcium Plus. It has all the Vitimins, Cal d3, And normal Cal and i use everyday. (suggested by my breeder)
