I will be getting a Veiled chameleon for my girlfriend for the holidays in a few weeks and while doing research on care and nutrition I am reading mixed information about supplements and how often to use each type.
The chameleon in question will be around 4 months old. Not sure of the gender yet but hoping to find a male at my local pet shop.
The supplements I purchased already were Rep-Cal calcium w/o D3, Rep-Cal calcium with D3, and Rep-Cal Herptivite. Do I need a way to supplement Preformed Vit-A or would gutloading feeders with certain vegetables and such take care of that?
What would be a good schedule to start with until the cham gets settled and can be observed and supplements adjusted if need be?
Sorry, I know this has been discussed before but, like I mentioned, I have read numerous different articles and forum posts suggesting different schedules, amounts, ect...
Thanks!
