Supplementation Advice

Hello,
I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice on supplementation. I currently have zoomed repti-calcium without d3 and vetark nutrobal which is a calcium and mineral/vitamin balancer with d3. I was wondering how often I should be given my chameleon each one as the advice I've seen has varied from giving calcium every day and then nutrobal on weekends to only using nutrobal once or twice a month. I feel the need to agree with the latter as I am currently using a UV lamp (Arcadia D3 UV Basking Lamp) and see him under it basking so I know he's getting d3 from there (as well as taking him outside whenever its sunny) and as the label itself says, they shouldn't need the extra d3 if they already have a source of d3, and so the main reason for giving it to him at all is for the mineral/vitamins, and so I ask two different questions:
1. Should I give nutrobal at all if he has a source of d3 already and find a mineral/vitamin supplement without d3?
2. If I do use nutrobal, how often would you recommend I supplement his food with it?

my guys get calcium w/out d3 everyday except once every two weeks to once a month they get the vitamin with d3. they are outside as much as possible and still get their supplement every feeding
