Supplementation Schedule (3 Supplements)

the pink one is with D3,
MinerAll 0 is basically calcium/ mineral without D3.
if you always put your chameleon outside to enjoy the sun (assuming that you live in the area where the sun is available all year around), you can eliminate the need to supplement with D3.

If the majority if his time will be kept indoor, a D3 supplement is a must.
But keep the dosage minimum based on his needs.

I found the schedule Liddy gave me on dodolah's website. Dodolah what would you recommend for adults? Im still a little confused.

Brian

follow the same schedule. But, since the adult chameleon eat every other day, it will become like this:
M Herptivite
T no food
W MinerAll 0
Th no food
F Repcal D3
Sat no food
Sun insects with no supplementation.

Remember, don't go crazy on the dosage. just a very tiny pinch.
Modify the schedule based on your individual chameleon.

Thanks for the help dodolah I really apreciate it. One more question until what age would I use the schedule for young chams...and then move on to the adult supplementation?

I usually start feeding my cham every other day when he reach a year old.
Some keepers start it earlier (around 10 mo).

Whats the repcal without D3? I have the pink can and I think it has D3...Kat do you know?

Julirs, can you clear up a few more things for me? Is the Repcal with the calcium (the first one in the picture) the one you use 6x a week? The repcal with D3 (the one you use 2x a month) is it the pink one?

Brian

I'm glad I started this thread. I hope it helps some people become less confused, I know you all have helped me a ton!

And thanks for that pic Juli!

Thanks Brad! Ok, so to deal with the vitamin A, should you use an eye dropper for the "one tiny drop every two weeks"? And fish oil works?

The size of drop I shoot for is smaller than you would get from an eye dropper.
closer to the size of the head of a pin ( a real pin not a cricket:D)
Fish oil is a suitable source of Vitamin A.

Hi Brad,

Could you make it clear one more time for me? I dont want to overdose or cause any problems to my chams. How many times a month would I put fish oil on a feeder? At what age would I start adminstrating to them? Thanks for the help.

Brian
