Vitamins, calcium+, calcium-

What sizes should I get? Do they have shelf lives? Or can I get larger size to maximize my dollar?

I was planning on getting 8.8 of jurassical cal-
Then leaning to rep-cal for vita and cal+

If you only own a single chameleon, I would just get the smaller bottles. There should be an expiration date on there, but I believe it is recommended that you replace them about every year since you will have some nutrient loss with age. Just be sure to store in a cool dry place and it should last its expiration date.

I can MAYBE believe that is case with vitamins....(shelf life is often highly exaggerated simply to get more$$$)
But minerals? Calcium- does this really have a shelf life?

Also, why cal+ and vitamins separate? Why not just use a combo formula every other week once?

Calcium shouldn't have a shelf life unless it gets wets and solidifies, but I would still get the smallest bottle. You will use it soooo slowly. Maybe for the multivitamin there is a "best if used by date", but still, smallest bottle you can get.

Get separate plain calcium (no D3) because you will need to use it several times a week. The multivitamin will get used on a much wider interval - once or twice a month depending on your chameleon species. I like the multivitamin with D3 so that I am only cycling 2 supplements.

Ok, I'm gonna try the Jurrasipet products so I'll get the calcium- and the calcium+/vita in one....two products
It'll save me some money

I am using Repashy's Calcium Plus purchased in 2014 and it has an expiration date of 2017. It's a 6 oz bottle and I've been using it for over a year with more than plenty left. I'm going to buy the 3 oz bottle next time and don't mind spending $10 a year for a fresh bottle. I guess its more for my peace of mind.

I replace vitamins and anything with D3 every 12 months. Vitamins oxidize over time, and they're cheap enough that once a year doesn't cost much for peace of mind. :)
