Suprise in the Food Dish!?!

I woke up this morning and started my normal routine spraying and feeding and such, when low and behold there was a big turd in the food dish!! Is my cham trying to tell me something? This is actually quite a feat unless he was standing in the dish, which I have never seen before. He must have totally contorted himself to pull it off. On top of that it is the first time since he was a little baby that he didn't poop in his usual spot. Anyone else have this problem?

My iguana was trained to poop in his cat box...reptiles are smart critters...he could be telling you something!

LOL... oh man, Cricket does that all the time. It's a bit of a pain because normally I give the food dish a hot water rinse daily and would only do a boiling water sterilization once or twice a month, but it seems that I'm having to sterilize it every other day or so lately!

My cham thinks its food bowl is the toilet, and will lift its leg up just to go in that spot! damn it lol

stinky surprise

Same thing happened to me. I actually caught him doing it. He was on a branch over kind of contorted to get directly over it, but I though he came down to eat. I was experiementing with new types of feeders. Low and behold, I went back and checked and he left me a stinky surprise. What great aim! Needless to say, we switched to free range and he is much happier.
