Susi+Peter´s chamaeleons

Gorgeous pics as usual. I love checkin out your photos. You always have such clear nice pics. And lovely chams make them even better. Have fun this summer in the states. I hear yellowstone is amazing...

Thank you Scott! :D

Yellowstone and Grand Teton are beautiful. In my opinion the most beautiful nationalparks in the states.
Yellowstone has a nice landscape but the animals are the real treasure. Last year we have seen bison, elk, black bear, grizzly, wolf and much more.
The landscape in Grand teton is totally amazing and the animals too. There we have seen moose - great.
And i love the bisons - they are gorgeus! It is nice to sit in the nature and observe them.

Some impressions of yellowstone and grand teton....

If I can ever get some time off from the ins offc & the chams I just may do that. I love to fish and would love to do some trout fishing up there. :D Nothing better than nature and fishing to release all that stress. Have fun this summer, and keep those cool pics coming...

I will have fun! :D

In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Till my visit there last year i thought olympic np and yosemite np are beautiful national parks - but no chance compared to yellowstone and grand teton.

I loved to sit at the roadside and visit the herd of bison. Close the bison you should not go outside, but if they not to close i did this. The closest encounter with a bison was 9 feet - but i was in the car. It was great. I´am impressed by the power of these animals.

One more picture of Hoernchen - sitting on a fig tree in my living room looking outside to the wide world......
Love the picture becouse only his head is sharp.

Have a nice weekend!

I love the K. matscheii, and am hoping to have one some day. They're all great shots (throughout the thread); I especially like the very last one, of him licking the larch.

If you like elk, the time and place to travel is Estes Park, Colorado in the first couple weeks of October. They're coming down out of the mountains to lower ground then, and will come right into the town. Or you can go to Rocky Mountains National Park (which borders on the town) and be able to count on finding a herd of 60 or 70.

Thank you very much. :)

@hallenhe: Elk in yellowstone was great too, in september i have seen them all over the park. In Mammoth Hot Springs you can see also a herd of 50 and more in the evening at the sports field.

Following one more pic from yellowstone....

Back to the chameleons......
.... some pics of Hoernchen at the balcony.

I love this guy - every day when i´m back from work, he is waiting in front of his cage and his eyes say "let me out" and he is happy if i bring him to a big fig tree in the living room.

I love your boy and your pics. I thought you were going to take the last photo contest. I was surprised you didnt even place:confused:

Hi Cain, thank you but the picture in the contest was very special and the spirit of the picture is only visible if you see it on full screen in a good resolution.
But it is nice to see that the quality of the pics in the contest will be better and better.

Now some new pictures of my matschiei and my multi-male at the balcony during the last days. The second picture is cutout (or is section or cut better????) from the first picture.

Since last week i have a EOS5DMKII - great! Not much to relearn from the 50D but much sharper....... but i miss the crop a little bit.....

Bad and good news - two weeks ago my Vossibaer (male of K.multituberculata) goes to heaven. :(

Today I take a look into the boxes with the eggs of my K.multituberculata and found 10 Kids of him - one more is coming out of the egg and there are 3 more eggs.

Here are some pics, in the next days I will post some better.

Greetings Peter

He lives on! Those babies look good. I can see a nice pattern on them. Will be very bold I think.

Sorry and congrats Peter. Must be a mix of emotions but I'm sure the babies will find a way to cheer you up!
