Swollen hemipenal bulge!

So around the end of last month I had to assist my panther cham in passing 2 MASSIVE sperm plugs. I never thought I'd see one that big in my life. Anyways, afterwards I noticed that is bulge was larger than usual. At the time I figured "Ah, probably has something to do with the plugs." And decided to leave it be. Now 2 or so weeks afterwards, his bulge is still swollen, although not as much as it was before. I still believe it has something to do with the plugs, but I'm much more concerned now. I have tried massaging the area gently and spraying it with warm water. Every now and then I catch him rubbing it on stuff. Now my question is is it infected? Could he have more sperm plugs? What the heck is going on with his bum!? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Here's a picture of him back when I first noticed it (He's sleeping now and I dont want to bother him, I'll get another pic in the morning.)

Eww...that's nvr fun to deal with! I had a similar situation with my old leopard gecko.
 
I just got another picture of it, and as you can see from this picture, it has shrunken down a bit, but it's still there

I just gave him a bath in some warm water, but he was only in it for 6 or 7 minutes before he started getting stressed out. I'm thinking he might be a bit "Clogged up" and there's something in there he needs to pass. Any idea what it could be? Also I will be looking into going to the vet, but I need to know the average cost for something like that. I don't have a lot of money to be spending right now, sadly.

I'd be careful saying things like that. Chances are several established members are going to tear you a new one saying if you can't afford the vet bill, you shouldn't have the animal. But to get it looked at, it probably wouldn't cost anything over $60.

Oh, 60? Yeah, I can do 60. I was thinking you'd be paying more like 120 to 140 for exotic animals.

Call ahead for prices. My vet charges me $45 for an office visit. Not all good exotic vets charge high fees. Some do, and a lot depends on location and what the market will bear. Where are you located?

The suburbs around Philadelphia. I know of one exotic animal vet, I'll try calling tomorrow at some point.
