T-Rex Chameleon Dust

Hey has anyone used the t-rex chameleon dust? It says use for every feeding, but is that accurate? Just wanna know if anyone uses it, how often, and have they seen positive results.

It contains both pre-formed vitamin A, as well as vitamin D3, so to use it at EVERY feeding might create a risk of over-supplementation.

Initially, it was the only supplement I used to use it for my first cham, but after learning more about the risks of oversupplementation, I cut back on it a lot in favour of pure calcium, and only continued using it as a substitute for a better multivitamin like Herptivite (which I struggled to source in this country).

As for positive results, well, my cham doesn't have MBD and it isn't dead, but I can't say whether that has anything to do with the supplement.
Personally, I don't believe that it's the best supplement out there. I prefer to stick with tried-and-tested combo of using separate plain calcium, plain calcium with D3, and then a specialist multivitamin (as most experienced keepers suggest), instead of using a supplement like Chameleon Dust ICB that promises to do everything in one bottle - that makes it harder to control the specific levels of supplementation.

Tygerr,
Your spot on ever time.;)
I really like the T-Rex dust, but it's not an all-in-one supplement.
I use 5 supplements.
1) Phosphorous free calcium without D3
2) Phosphorous free calcium with D3
3) Minerall(o)
4) Herptivite
5) SandFire T-Rex Chameleon Formula

I use the T REX cham dust, but only one or twice maximum a week, all other days I use a pure calcium dust. This was the advice given to me by the breeder I got my young panther from, he seems extreamly healthy and growing well for it.

I really like the T-Rex dust, but it's not an all-in-one supplement.
I use 5 supplements.
1) Phosphorous free calcium without D3 At most feedings
2) Phosphorous free calcium with D3 once per month
3) Minerall(o) Rotate with regular calcium
4) Herptivite once per month
5) SandFire T-Rex Chameleon Formula once or twice per month

T-Rex doesn't have much D3 in it.
Minerall(o) is just a calcium w/o D3 and trace minerals.

i personally dont recommend that all in one supplement. my first chameleons i didnt know much and only used that stuff and used it everyday. and low and behold my male had mbd and died from it at the age of 1 1/2 years. it couldnt been multiple probs contributing to his death but that stuff dont have much d3 and i think thats y my chamy got mbd cuz all the calcium and crap in that stuff, if your not getting adequate d3 than its useless.
