I've read on here, that sometimes part of their tail will die after some sort of injury. Like getting it closed in the enclosure door, or nipped by a cage mate when they're housed together as babies or at the pet store. I haven't personally had to deal with this type of injury, yet. So I'm just repeating what I've read here.
Sometimes, it will fall off on it's own, and sometimes the area of dead tissue keeps spreading. When the dead tissue keeps spreading, a vet will remove the necrotic tissue. I'm not sure if there's anything you can do at home, until you take him in to see the vet. Hopefully someone that's dealt with this will see your thread and give you more info.

Most likely a tail nip from a more dominant sibling or cage was closed on it. Happens a lot when babies are not separated before they start getting territorial

Thanks ya idk exactly what happened but his tail was like this when I got him yesterday , and Monday I plan on taking him to vet, but i mean as far as I've seen he still uses the whole tail , it functions but doesn't look pretty on the tip lol, so just to b safe I plan on going to the vet as soon as I get the little guy home. I can deal with a tail nip lol long as the little guy Is healthy and I can keep this from being life threatening ill b happy lol

vet will know

My guys a slight kink at the end of his tail?? Always been there still curls normaly and grips well. Possibly broken as a baby or birth defect the spines on his tummy splits into two lines then back to one again its not just there colours thats unique lol

That's crazy, and I absolutely love the fact u call it unique. Cause unique is what we all like and why we all come here. Ya I'm really eager to see what the vet will have to say monday

vet said the tip will probably fall off one day but it still has blood flow now. as far as what we could see just the very tip doesnt look the best. thanks for all the help tho guys.
