Tail Squeeze

Do any of your chameleons squeeze your fingers with their tails really hard? Like to the point where you can't make it unloose. Or does my chameleon just have super strength...

All chameleons have super strength! What you describe is pretty normal.

Yes, my larger melleri's tails feel like a tight rubber band is on my finger. It is amazing how much strength they have in their tails but especially their feet.

believe it or not but my jackson i feel has super strength. he has kung fu grip. all my chameleons really have a hard grip but for such a little fella he is amazing.

To me it's a sign of how comfortable they are with you. My veiled hates me and the rest of his world, so when I bring him outside to the lanai he's got a tight grip with all his toes. On the other hand my panther is really laid back and relaxed, so just loosely wraps his tail around me, and doesn't grip super tight. I could be wrong, but that's how I read the situation.
