taking jackson home from HAwaii ok?

Sorry to go off the subject. My parents are planning on moving to "Hawaii" main island within a year or two. I've decided to move with them. My question is I have 2 green anoles and 1 bahaman anole. Within the next month I'll be adding a new member to my collection a Veiled Chameleon. Does anyone know if I'm allowed to bring my pet anoles and veiled chameleon to Hawaii with me? I've done some research on transporting pet lizards to Hawaii. From the information I've read online I can't figure out and not sure if pet anoles and veiled's are allowed. If they are allowed will they have to be put through quarantine like cats and dogs? I definitely know I have to sell my California King snake, because no snakes are allowed.

I've seen quite a few at various coffee plantations on Hawaii ( county ) Here is the last one from this month.

As far as know you can't bring those reptiles to hawaii. The governmet there is pretty serious about keeping their wildlife kosher.

Most likely you can't bring them with you. The islands are under seige from all sorts of imported species and this includes parasites your pets may carry. Even though you may be responsible and would never release your herps once you move, there are plenty of others who have...and that's a big reason HI is so strict about what comes in. What reading have you done about bringing in personal pets? I'm sure the information is out there...you just may have to wade through lots of state agency websites (Dept of Wildlife, Natural Resources...not sure what they have or who has jurisdiction over pet arrivals). And, remember that the airlines have their own rules about how you transport your pets. You'll need to read their own websites to find out. Most airlines don't permit anything other than a small domestic bird, cat, fish, or dog in the cabin. Everything else usually has to be checked or go as air cargo. It can be done of course with the right carriers. The airlines will probably also require vet health certificates within 30 days of travel.

Also consider the stress your herps will go through on such a long trip. It might be kinder to find them other homes here.

I did it, you need to go to the court house and fill out some paperwork, its all free. I think you can bring back up to 15. I brought back 3. It's no trouble getting them out of Hawaii but you will need to check with the airline. Funny story but I actually got kicked off the airplane as they were pulling the gate away a flight attendant asked me oh whats in your box, and I replied they are chameleons. She went and told the pilot and he parked the plane and the flight attendant escorted me off the plane. It ends up they have to be checked. But besides that it wasn't that difficult. They sell them in the stores for $15 each but there is a guy on the Island that EVERYONE knows and he has a huge Jackson chameleon sign in front of his house and has an awesome setup. Try to go to him.

I read that it's only in Honolulu, HI that you are able to obtain a specimen and export it back to the U.S. How about the main big island Hawaii? Like say If I caught one in Kona or Hilo, HI would I be able to export one back home with me to the U.S?

Also as I've read all airlines don't allow reptiles as a carry on.
My question is once you approach the carry on baggage check that includes the x-ray how do you hide a small chameleon and get it pass the checkpoint?
If I show them my exporting permits and they know what's in the box will they let me through?
I know after I get pass the baggage check I can then go to the bathroom and hide them in my carry on bag.
