Hey all!!!
Just thought I'd give a little update on my little Takini who many of you remember as poor little Picasso.
Anyway, he's doing superbly! All the sores on his body have all but healed over and disappeared. The ones on his nose unfortunately were almost healed but must have gotten rubbed by accident on something as he was cruising around and got reopened and a little bit infected but are back under control and rehealing nicely.
I've also put him on a VERY strict diet to try and shed some of that weight he gained on the waxworm/butterworm diet he was being fed. Got rid of the worms entirely and have been giving him 8-10 dusted crix every other day and thanks to ridgebax1 who was so unbelievable generous to mail me all her extra dubia (thanks so much again!) once I get the colony situated and breeding again he'll be on a diet mixed with crickets, roaches, and mealies all gutloaded with some of Sandra's great gutload recipes.
All in all he's doing fabulously now, thankyou all so so much for all your advice and support! I'll try n post some pics later on after I feed the youngen (she just started yelling at me over the baby monitor)
