Happy hatch day Tanooki Mario!
That is perhaps the biggest challenge of having a bioactive enclosure (at least for me too) is the chameleon is always hunting for their clean up crew. I guess we should consider it enrichment. Having mushrooms is actually a good thing and a sign that your bioactive is doing what it’s supposed to.
I don’t know about the black scale. Could it be a cricket bite? If it isn’t a problem, just monitor.

Thanks. I'm not too worried since it just showed up, but I figured I'd mention it in case somebody asked or knew anything. A bite is a possibility, just because of everything in there - crickets, isopods, and dubia.
