Tate Had Surgery

Tate had to have a little surgery last week. He had a hard mass on his chin and an abscess on his right hand. Dr. Mader sent the mass off for biopsy and he did a culture on the abscess but I haven't heard the results yet. Here's a few pictures of my little man's stitches. He still has some bruising on his chin. He's recovering quite well as you can see and gets his stitches out in 4 weeks. He's getting ready to shed and I'm hoping that want damage his stitches.

He's very handsome, even with the stitches.

Usually the shed skin gets stuck around the stitches a little so he may need a little help getting that part off but shouldn't hurt the stitches.

Tate and I thank everyone for the nice comments. He had an injection for pain at the vets but doesn't act like the stitches bother him at all now.
