shoulder of a sleeve

Oh wow that is beautiful! I don't have any and don't really want any at this point in my life(I am 53) but I like admiring other people's. My 21 yr old daughter has a gecko on her foot. A pretty big one. I tell her it looks pretty now, but when you are 40 are you gonna want a gecko on your foot??! lol

don't let you age stop you, if you want one. I didn't. or rather I did let age stop me when I was young, but I didn't let middle-age stop me!

when I was 20 I wanted a frog tattoo. Everyone said "you'll regret it when you're older". Turns out, all I regretted was NOT doing it. So I didn't get mine until I was 40. And it turned out not to really hurt much and my older skin healed just fine. So I am getting more! LOL

My more daring friend got her mermaid when she was 20 something, and it still looks great. and she still loves it. But if she didn't, they're not hard to cover up with new ink design, or even remove (all it takes is bright light pulses)

Hilarious you had her get hers first!

I'm glad the guy had enough sense to send you to someone else who could do it better. The shop I go to has different artists that excel in different types. Greyscale, new school, Sailor Jerry, gangster-ish, and traditional with full color.

lol well she wanted one and I wasn't quite sure and didn't quite have the money at the time. Was still saving for one. All those bills get in the way. Apparently a tattoo is not more important then eating and paying bills:rolleyes::eek:

The guy who did my girlfriends tattoo said he would do mine but he does not specialize in what I wanted so he said he was have the shop hand pass my number off to one of the other guys in the shop who would be better at what I wanted. Made me feel much better about going there. That and seeing my girlfriends work. Though the guy said he's never done anything like this before he drew me up a pic and it was great so I went through with it and couldn't be happier. Witch is why I'm going back. He was vary confident and even gave me a few references. So I know this had to be the the place:D

looks great.

You couldn't be more right. If I had even got half the tattoos I wanted in my teens I would have looked like a fool lol and hated every one of em. But I only get tattoos that are that I put alot of thought into and relevant to my life style or sometimes really awesome. But do t regret even 1 and never will.

I have lots of others, but this one I have of Janis Joplin is DEFINATELY my favorite...I think...
