I live in Whittier Ca..and our weather today is 91 degrees ..So my Question is ? Can i turn my Chameleons lights off since the temperature in the house is reading 91 degrees????

I would keep the uv light on but if the basking spot is that warm I don't see a need for the heat bulb until Temps drop below what their warmest spot should be

I'm in Torrance... it was hot today. I always keep my UVB on and turn off the basking bulb if it gets too hot. I also make sure one of the mist times is during the high heat part of the day... helps keep the temps a little less scorched feeling.

Yeah today was pretty hot in ca . I have an. A/c unit to keep temps down in my house but if you don't have this I agree with the others turning off the heat lamp won't harm anything for a short time.
