ok,so right now i have 86 F in the room where i keep my cham without any heat source ! at night i have around 75 - 77F ! he gets like 4-5 hours per day of basking at the sunlight that covers 30% of the cage! my question is :should i turn off the heating lamp and just leave the uvb turned on? soon the temps will go higher around 92-95 for day and 80 at night - when this happend should i chill his cage or its ok?thank you

It almost sounds like your cage is by a window. Which might be whats causing the cage to be so warm. Instead of turning off your basking light, move the cage away from the window for a few reasons. Your Chameleon isn't getting any UVB from the sun as the UVB rays cant pass through the glass from the window. And your Chameleon needs to thermoregulate by going to cooler parts of the cage, which can't be done if the ambient temperature is too high.
