Terramycin eye drops?

Has anyone ever purchased these from a regular pharmacy? Are they the same as the type you can purchase from reptile supply online stores? Any first hand knowledge greatly appreciated. May have the beginning of an eye infection and would like to put this in one of my chams eyes as my vet (only rep vet) is out of town till the end of the week. As my computer connection is ungodly slow tonight, I am signing off and will answer any questions and read replies tomorrow. Thanks

You will have to get it from your local farm supply/feed store. It is normally used for cow, horse and other animal eye problems. But it still works great for chameleons!

Thanks! Your right, found it at local feed supply house. Think he just had something in his eye as his second shower seemed to clear it up. He was just squinting it for a few days. For future reference,how often do I use this if I ever need to? Only once, once a day, once a week? Thanks for the input.

When I use it I do it once a day for a week. Then off for a few days to see if it has worked. If no one more week then off to the vet if its still act'n up.

feed stores are great all sorts of good stuff there. You can also get Panacur.

Thanks for all the info, Had my wife travel 35 miles to the feed supply to get the teremycin, went 30 miles last week to pick up some panacur at a livestock vet and when I went in to pick up a few crickets a a little private owned pet shop today, they had both. Just my luck. Anyway, I'll know in the future. Thanks for all the info guys.
