Texas flood

Guy in Houston I know keeps monitors. Before the storm hit he was packing his critters into plastic containers. Haven't heard from him since. Funny thing is there was no evacuation order but he told me “this one don't feel right, the lizards are all agitated and pissy like nothing I've seen before. We're heading out for this storm." So maybe they sensed a change in the air pressure or something. Hope everybody is ok.

For those wondering why natural disasters strike, something I read:

Agnostics: "This is simply a natural cycle and quite random, unfortunate, but random"

Religious: "God works in mysterious ways and while unfortunate, it is God's will"

Chameleon Keepers: "This might be some good breeding weather, I better open some windows. If not then Nature just hates me for keeping chameleons."

Hang in there Texas

I sure hope everyone and their critters are safe!

I'm going to attempt to venture out today and check on my office and my job site to see what damage has been done. If I can even get there

Everything is still closed but I still have enough dubia to last me about a week.

If the mailing opens in time when I can ship when you need, I don't have tons currently but hopefully I can help augment. ^^ Be safe sweetie. Hoping your torts are well too, if you need some stuff for them at all I can provide (not sure what your backyard looks like?)

Hey guys! Those who are in Texas and in need of feeders still, I may be able to get some feeders near you guys soon if you still need them. Not sure yet. Asking about it. I have a group from here taking donations and they are taking a BUNCH of animal stuff if they have the space. I have asked about feeders. I have also offered things for small mammals, birds, dogs, and cats. Plus hoodies, pants, shirts I can't wear etc. I am sending them some toleitries and canned goods already in my house and have offered to pick up some stuff as well. I can't afford to give large amounts of money to their cause but I have a grocery outlet here where I can spend 20-30 dollars and get 50-75 dollars worth of just necessities for families.

Sadly am not able to send feeders with them... It's understandable since they are going in a motor home etc. And one person is especially uncomfortable with insects. It's why I asked. But all other pet stuff I have they will take. And human things they of course will take. I am heading out later today to do some shopping for it. But otherwise have most of what I need here.

Idk what to do about the feeders for you guys yet. I have syperworms of various sizes (not a lot) that are in my colony that I can likely ship that if they get stalled for a couple weeks in shipment it wouldn't be a huge deal.... do you have an open hub near you @Tortdad ?
