I just wanted to thank Jann publicly. We got one of Hammy and Ivy's baby boys. He is so handsome! Jann has been beyond wonderful through the entire process. I don't know many people who would drive around the country to deliver chameleons in order to make sure that each one arrives at their new homes safely. That is truly dedication and love. Thank you, Jann!

We decided to stick with an island theme, so his name is Fiji. I wish my pictures captured how handsome he really is.

Thank you! I can't wait to see pictures of your guy when he arrives! I was going to say little, but Fiji is "solid". My girls keep comparing him to our female panther and can't believe his size for his age. His tail is already AMAZING! My kids continue to comment on how big and pretty it is.

I've obviously seen very beautiful veileds on this forum, but in person, I've never seen a young veiled chameleon as beautifully colored or marked as Fiji is. I was blown away when I first saw him. The pictures of his siblings prove that he is not the exception but rule when it comes to the type of offspring Hammy and Ivy produce.

Thank you! I appreciate the well wishes! My girls saw pictures and fell in love, so Fiji is a family pet. Our panther was supposed to be my pet, but she has also become a family pet too. The way I see it is there are five of us, so to be fair, we need at least 3 more chameleons. ???

I am honestly really excited about the size difference. Beman is smaller for a male only 16 inches from tip of tail to end of nose. It should be like having a little dragon with the new baby lol. I have not asked @jannb what Hammy's weight and length is but I know her line run on the larger side of the male measurements.

Ekk too much fun. Fiji already is showing a nice sized casque too! It is going to be amazing to watch all these babies grow up. And to have a little piece of family connection with our babies. ❤

Awww thanks hun... I know looking at them on peoples hands... They are the size now at 3 months that Beman was at 5 months. I had this perfect sized chunk of tree branch with baby sticks coming off of it that I know realize will be too small of a grip by the time I get him next month. So I have some reworking to do on what I am using. But I do have tons of branches so that will be good. I will just be glad when I get the new Atrium so I can start working on it and then rework the other enclosure. Right now it is all in my head and I am overthinking every aspect.

I had to rework the baby enclosure and he is going to move into his big boy cage much sooner than I had planned. I'm happy his regular cage is all set.

Yeah I am the same way. I like a smaller enclosure to start just so you can monitor more closely. The cage he will go into is my DS Medium tall atrium. So it is 30 inches wide and 24 deep then 4 foot high. I will be getting the large atrium for him next year when I save up for it lol. So this one is not exactly small but by the time he gets here I think it will work perfectly for him.

I am mentoring two others that got little boys and they are acclimating so quickly to their new cages and parents. The difference between being raised with love and attention and not is incredible to me. Beman took weeks to build trust with me before he would even hand feed. The idea that the new little man will be trusting of people already thrills me.

You should post pics of your bio active set ups. I love them but refuse to set them up until I own my own home. Hard enough moving cages as is without adding the bio active component. lol.

Jann is an amazing woman and her dedication to her animals really shows through. I've had the priveledge of having 3 of hers (2 currently), and they are big, healthy veileds. You will love being part of this family tree!
