Thanks for nothing vets!

one more thing the first thing i did before i started getting back into chams was not only ask my buddy who owns the reptiles store here in eugene but my friend up in tigard oregon was who is the best reptile vet around their area in my case i have two choices i can go up to portland oregon of the same vet i use to take my turtle and anoles here in eugene back in the day. just to help you out call around and make sure and ask here for some questions to quiz the vets first if they have the time and are willing to answer them.

i dont think this thread needs to be deleted

bad attitude shouldnt be faced with other bad attitude

he had a bad experience, and only voicing his opinion, as negative as it is he still has a right to voice it

he is not blaming anyone in particular

BUT i hope he can give the forums the benefit of the doubt and know there are a lot of novice, intermediate, and advanced keepers here

all are kind of enough to at least help

but he has a point that sometimes people shouldnt post if they do not know better

although they have good intentions, those with at least similar experiences should be the ones posting

May I offer some advice? When posting on the forum about the same chameleon and the same problem, that you keep it all in the same thread. This makes it easier for us to realize that its not a new problem but an on-going one. The two threads that you posted about foot problems seemed to just end unfortunately.

Good to know that your chameleon's feet are finally on the mend!
Hope you will still continue to post here. Sometimes threads just get lost in the process.

Point of interest: reptaid is not an antibiotic. It is an herbal neutraceutical. Not that there's anything wrong with using it necessarily, but using it does not rule out bacterial because it has no proven efficacy against bacteria (as a whole or even with any individual ingredients) and it is not FDA approved. Triple antibiotic ointment also has limited efficacy against its small spectrum of susceptible bacteria. So that doesn't exclude bacteria either. Just some info for anyone else having a similar issue to consider.
