I was looking at the beautiful, edible plant arrangement in Pepper's cage and saw these 2 half-eaten pothos leaves, but I thought it was some kind of ivy plant by the shape! I had to wonder when I got an ivy plant for a moment before I realized
And I'm finally able to start feeding out of my bean beetle colonies a little bit, so I dropped some in and the babies immediately went to town! I meant to have them separated by now but I've been up and down with illness recently and haven't had much energy to set up the 2nd cage. At least with this one it's a lot of space for them to get away from each other if they start having any tantrums. But, I have noticed that M&M seems to hang out more in the lower areas whereas Boo spends more time near the top/basking areas, so I'm wondering if Boo has staked a claim on the prime UVB spots... I'm going to try and get a friend to come help me with setting up the 2nd cage soon so M&M can feel comfortable getting UVB again by himself.
Here's the babies eating beetles, though! You can see that I moved one of Pepper's sad looking pothos plants to the babies cage to recuperate, too
