Look at this fat baby belly!

They like to scare me at night by not adding up to 8 every night lol. One night there are 6, another there are 8, the next they're 5, then 6... They like to make me worry about having lost one!

what do you keep them in Olimpia? a plastic bin with folage?

Yes, essentially. I didn't want to use fake plants with the babies as I felt live always hold water better. And it lets them do that natural behavior of sleeping at the very ends of leaves - so you'll see a little branch with a baby on each leaf, and it's too precious.

Awwwwwwwwww, it can't get any cuter!!!!

Randi, that's true! They look identical, except the baby is a cute type of scheming :)

Here they are sleeping tonight (because I promised one member that she would be seeing baby photos today!) - They like to sleep in seemingly uncomfortable places, like the very edges of leaves instead of on the twigs or something.

And one outside earlier today.

Great pictures.

As I no longer breed, I am living vicariously through you/these pictures.
keep em coming!

Thanks Sandra! I can't believe that Baby #1 is already 3 weeks old this weekend... they are going to be going to their new homes before I have a chance to realize it, so I am taking as many photos as possible!

Due to the storm, the babies didn't get to go outside today. So I just snapped a few pics of them just now before bed time. I can't get over their little red throats!

I'm looking at this last photo compared to the first ones I took of baby #1 and their little faces are already longer! I was just talking today with a co-worker about how their eye balls are like 95% of their entire head, and look, that's not going to be true for too much longer.

I tell you, the people who are getting these babies cannot complain that they don't know how these guys were raised lol. Not with all these multi-weekly updates on them.

Olimpia, they are just soooo freakin' cute!!!! Thanks for the pics!!!

Thanks Lisa! They've gotten bigger and definitely chubbier than they were when they hatched out. It's cute to see them grow in such a short amount of time.

I'm lucky that since I work at a pet store I get to make as many tubs of cricket eggs as I want, and I make them pretty regularly so it's costing me almost nothing to feed them so far. And once they get a little bigger I have thousands of tiny roach nymphs to keep them well fed for weeks. So I have to admit that I haven't had to spend too much on them yet! lol

Tiny indeed! But they have grown since they hatched and will probably take off more in the net few weeks as they get slightly bigger crickets and are introduced to roaches.

Here are a few more of them. One baby has stayed a little smaller than the rest but she is also the sweetest, preferring to stay on my hand over getting back on her ficus.
