LMAO! i AM silly...i'm just random with my free time. hahaha....some weeks i spend a lot more time working from home and hardly log in for a few days and others, i'm on a lot. heheh...

...rather than starting a new thread....

since we've talked a little about the ankaramy clutch, i'm wondering how long i should wait before i take this girl in to see the vet...poor thing looks miserable... and i'm pretty sure, as of wednesday, she'll be at 39-40 days.... and there's been one day she was digging a little, but she's done nothing when i put her in the bin... still eating and drinking... but she's got me worried....
 
update on the ankaramy....egg folicles, but no eggs with the vet visit...wondering if she'll be like our other girl with the retained clutch...so fingers crossed for that....

right now, just focused on the eggs from the other two clutches and hoping to not screw that up... ;)

future babies from the pinkies to come though! =)
 
heheheh...... he's the only one that actually doesn't mind being handled...you should come hang out some time and get to know the pretty boy! ;)

i'm just glad both boys aren't so interested in the chams and cages anymore...it's mainly keeping the cats away from the crickets in the cage!!!

just hope they won't get all interested in the babies!!! :eek:

Oh no. I just had my brother-in-laws cat get a hold of one of my crested Geckos. I forgot to turn the tank back around so that the lid was wedged between another tank and the one it's covering. The cat is always curious about my Cresteds in particular, he knocked the lid open and got my little guy Ace:(. Good thing is that he's not the type of cat that likes to kill or Ace would have been a goner. Thankfully he only has a few scratches on him but he's ok. :) So yeah, be careful. Lol!

jax (our big boy) busted into stryder's cage when we first got him...the hubby called me at work saying he was having to go get another cage and the screen was busted and jax's head went through it, but luckily since then, no other problems!!! lol.

lmao...yeah, sorry...including the dogs and cats in these convos!! lol....

right now, i'm hoping the egg folicles continue to produce into a retained clutch..... if not, bulking her up a bit more before we try again, just in case....but that's the ultimate goal. right now, i'm just hoping i make it through the incubation with the others and hatch them without human intervention error!!!

Well, sign me up for an Ankaramy baby. PM me how much you are thinking of selling them for, I have to do some major saving up to do. I want to make sure it's "doable". Lol! I'm crossing my fingers!
 
don't worry....first clutches and such, it would be reasonable.... i'll let you know if she lays or when we try again, definitely. :)

don't worry, we have an "odd" neighbor...i probly wouldn't notice an extra one lurking around the house!!! (is that scary?!!! hahah)

we're in the process of having some custom stands built for the cages to help with the misting and drainage and all of that...can't wait to see him in his happier colors more often when we get these in place! he really is pretty awesome (but of course, i'm biased!) ;)
 
just a *hopeful* update...

so, the ankaramy girl is still showing some gravid colors and looks like she's gained a little more, so *fingers crossed*, maybe we'll wind up with a retained clutch.... don't wanna get too excited about it, but i certainly wouldn't be upset if i walk in one day to a sandy skinnier little girl! ;)
