***The Official Enclosure Picture Thread***

Nothing special. I purchased the enclosure off of LLL reptiles. I made my own feeders. Just put those in, don't know how they are going to work. I also purchased a drainage pan from LLL reptiles. Using a mist king, reptisun 5.0, and a 30W bulb for heat. Basking temp stays around 82 degrees. :D

How do they stay in those holders?!

We finally got our new house for Calvin!!! :D
Sooo pleases!! This is her 3rd day in there, she's staying right at top on the mesh alot, even sleepin there, I'm guessing it just while she gets used to the new surroundings, right?!

Nice cage! But you´ll need to get a loooot more branches for him to climb and sit on. Chams mostly prefer horizontal branches which your plants barely have.

I'm curious how the female is doing sharing the free range with the male?? Is she gravid in the video or just mad? I have a huge 15' set up for a couple of my ambanjas that is heavily planted and I'm thinking about having the male and female share this huge enclosure.

they have been free ranging together for just under a year (the female is a year and 3 months old) and they do not fight, and the male does not bug her..she was just basking in that pic, and yes she was gravid, she just laid 47 eggs last week..ive never kept pairs or trios together in enclosures, ive only kept them together in free ranges (they have a completly different behaviour)..i believe the space gives them the ability to literally leave the tree if needed to bask at the window, or one of two basking sites...

as for the crickets staying in there..its basically a trick, they love jumping when they are flat on the ground, and almost never jump while climbing..ive actually only had a few crickets i found on the floor, but they where half chewed like in the vid (he got two with one shot, but only wanted one)..

:D :D :D

Thanks for the reply!! The female I was thinking about trying in with the male is gravid right now and is NOT in a good mood :)

Glad the window screen worked good for the crix!

Cool thanks, what would u recommend?
Just get some branches from outside.
You should provide some rather thin and some rather thick ones so your cham can choose which it likes best.
You may get as many as possible without keeping her from climbing around freely so there should be places with a lot of branches but also some with rather less branches.

Just thought I contribute to the topic....!

this is 2-24"x24"x48" side by side with the screens removed.. merry christmas gideon, now stop trying to bite me! :D

I cant say for this specific cage, but most of us use thumbtacks or push pins thru the screen and into the "branch"
