Some set up shots. I'm really happy with how it turned out it was made for my adult male panther, now i just need to get one lol. There are a few things that i would do differently if i built another one, got a few good ideas that a guy never thinks about till after. This was a bit of a pain to build, i'm a carpenter but i dont have a shop or a few of the tools like a jointer or a planer, had to do it by hand which means its the hardway "lol" Thanks for reading
Thanks
Jarred

I'm so glad to read a post from someone near me!!! We are getting a veiled soon and I've been worried about the lower fall/winter humidity levels. Do you air condition much in the summer? The humidity levels and temps can get pretty high. Any advice you can give me about raising a chameleon as a "Mainah" will be a huge help to me!!Hi, I think I've been really lucky with my male. I've been free ranging him for almost 2 years now. I think my secret is that he drinks directly out of the spray bottle daily and he drinks a lot at one sitting so he is very hydrated. His poops are perfect. Also, he likes to sit in his pothos plants which I mist regularly and keep well watered. Right now because it's cold and the heat is on constantly The humidity in the room is only 36%. I'm sure that will raise some eyebrows But, he's adapted really well. But, it was over a period of time. I just didn't throw him into a free range one day he addapted slowly from a high humidity cage where he could go in and out at will and climb up to his free range until it got to the the point where he wanted to stay out all the time so I let him. . I was very worried last winter as it was the first winter that he free ranged and I knew the humidity would get very low. But also knew that he would go crazy if I stuck him in a cage all of a sudden but he did well because he was already drinking heavily out of the water bottle. He will not drink out of a dripper so he no longer has one. I think all chams are different and this works very well for us.
How do you suspend your branches on the screen? Here is Loki's setup with a pic of the free range next to the cage:
