Current home for my 2-3 month old male veiled chameleon, Gizmo. It's an 18"x18"x24" Exo Terra tank but it does the job for the lil guy right now. Going to make a free range/ closet enclosure once he is big enough! :D
Cheers!

Building a new cage 49.75" x 24.25" x 24.25". I was originally going to go with a mesh 48" x 36" x 24" cage but decided a partially enclosed cage would be better for the cold winter months and keeping the water contained. I actually using 2' x 4' hardboard instead of plywood, since I couldn't find anything decent. I will be painting the inside with latex paint, so I don't have to worry about water absorption and mold in the hardboard.

I was about to P.M the same question..
I have the exact cage i'm trying to set up.

It looks to me like the vines are supporting it??

These setups are amazing, that push pin/tack idea for branches is awesome.
I am converting from a glass cage, to full screen and want to change things up with at least 1 living plant.

Couple of questions though:

-Some of you have alot of stuff sitting on the floor, how do you clean the poop?
(I have paper towels that can be easily replaced due to nothing on the floor)

-For those without feeder cups are you guys hand feeding? I like to try to let my guy hunt and let him get superworms off the ground, but for the most part he is too lazy. (He doesn't really like crickets anymore)

I clean the poop and any dead leaves daily by hand. The bottom of mine is screen so I can also just spray loose material through to clean it. I hand feed roaches, or let them crawl on the screen under close supervision. I put silk worms and hornworms on branches and let them hunt. I also release mantids as they are eaten almost immediately. Its really a combination of hand feeding at different distances and levels along with some free hunting.

I went for a more "minimalistic" look for this set of cages, thinking that the pothos will take over in no time. They have grown quite a bit since I took these photos last month, and I have since added more branches (I have to find them, so I add more as I spot ones I like) so it looks a tiny bit fuller but the feel remains the same.

what kind of branches did you use for the cage? I like the way they look

Thanks! Just branches from outside. I forget the name of the tree this moment, but it's one that grows around here. You can use anything except pine, as long as it is a non-toxic plant (for example, don't use Brazilian pepper or oleander).

Did you just bake them or spray with a Clorox mixture befor e putting them in the cage?
