Joel they are beauties, congratulations.
Do tell of their background and plans.
Wonderful news.
He's a Gorgeous male, very handsome indeed. Have you chosen names yet?
These came from me.
That male has been very inconsistent in his progress and in spite of trying many things, blood work, and months of time, I thought it best to give Joel the opportunity to see if his greenhouse and other resources could turn the guy around.
On one hand, there is an immense feeling of failure, while on the other hand, there is knowing that an animal that was not well would likely have parished long ago with a less experienced keeper and the fact that he is still strong and has no deficiencies or organ damage, after 10 months of being in my care is a testament that I was very much doing things right. With WC animals, it isn't always routine to find out why they aren't settling in. These guys had a variety of premium food, large enclosures, lots of water, and the best of vet care.
This is also a testament to how much I love these animals. Joel and I worked out a trade for the female, but that male is a $1000 gift, because I care enough about him having a chance to put my pride and investment aside and see if greenhouse life is what he needs.
I'm incredibly sad and miss my babies, but even more grateful for all of Joel's support and the comfort of knowing that they are in capable hands with hopefully the resources he needs to adjust to captivity.
Difficult as it may be you've acted in the animals best interest and that's awesome! These came from me.

Thanks Tabitha! Andrew explained the background above. It is better coming from him.
I have not chosen any names as of yet. Suggestions? How are your wonderful chameleons doing?
