Congrats!!! Did you notice any differences in the diff mixes? I have panther eggs in vermiculite, hatch-rite, and a mix of the 2 right now.

Well as of today, 3 eggs are slitting from the vermiculite group. Also the eggs are bigger.

Hatchrite I only got 1 egg that is slitting.

Hatchrite vs Vermiculite... I vote vermiculite for now...

That is weird mine are 6 months old and are big in the Hatch-Rite, biggest in the 50/50 mix and small in the vermiculite.

Congrats! It's very exciting to watch these little babies come to life. They are like little miracles. Enjoy them! :)

Oh my gosh, the babies are all so cute!!!!!! After they hatch what do you do? Do you have to mist them to clean them up?

Wow, those little ones are adorable!! How are the ones in the Hatchrite coming? Very cool how you did a test on all the substrates.

Babies, ahhhhhh babies, I love babies. They look almost see thru don't they? congratulations, they are sweet.

After they hatch I put them into their nursing home and leave them alone. When they start moving I then mist them and eventually the substrate will fall off.

Congrats on the babies. They will start eating you out of house and home soon....

Thanks! I know, would be a sad story how I became homeless..

All of them hatched except for one (which was my fault). I like the vermiculite better. Cheaper and seems to work better for me. I'm still going to use both for now since I got some hatchrite left..

Thanks Rob! Hang in there, at least you got 4 lil ones to keep yourself occupied!:D

Congrats! I love those BIG eyes the panther babies have! :)

I love it when one eye is looking at me and the other at the fruitflies or crickets!

They are adorable!. Has the one huge egg hatched?

unfortunately that was the one that didn't make it! Few days after I posted the picture the egg deflate (which is normal) and there was a slit. I accidentally touched it and he never came out! I thought it was an empty shell, my mistake :(
