The wait it over! hatchlings

unfortunately that was the one that didn't make it! Few days after I posted the picture the egg deflate (which is normal) and there was a slit. I accidentally touched it and he never came out! I thought it was an empty shell, my mistake

Did you put them in bins or right in to the butterfly cages?

He was actually the same size! I saw his mouth and then few days later I didn't see it anymore so thats why I thought it was an empty shell!

I put them in the bin first. I'm actually rotating from bin to butterfly cages when I do my cleaning. They both have their pros and cons.

Nice hatchlings. What did you do with the huge egg though? Throw it out because you thought it was just a shell? He must of been huge which makes it weird for it to have died....
